I have read this before for n number of times in management book "A good leader recognizes the potential of each individual in his team and guide them such that they work to fullest of their potential " But lately I have realized this , and was successful in implementing the words true to its meaning.

Installed FC-3 on my laptop. I would have to say, FC-3 guys have done their work very well. The improvements are SELinux you don't have to pass on the kernel command during startup to install it. Installation is faster It recognizes many of my Samsung X05 Ultra hardware. kernel 2.6.x benefits are always their. Not to forget Xfce is their to eye candy. It really rocks. New wallpapers package. Menu system is now alike Macintosh. Fonts are improved a lot Default browser now is Firefox . Logout and login sequence is faster. Booting is now faster than before. that's all I could recall for now. FC-3 with Kernel 2.6.x is now ready for prime time and now I could implement it on my servers.

Its time for me and I am in high gear. Cached up with a week long pending sleep. Skipped bath and no shave for today. Did nothing literally its was sleep topped with Jimmy Neutron movie on nick, boy I love this toon and would wish to be just like this geek. Now making a plan for coming week a week that's going to be big for life. Technology as they say is required for making your life easy and sometimes it makes your life tough, esp. When you are innovating and creating something technologically driven.

I dont would hate to miss even a single second of my golden moments, and for this I am going to purchase a handycam . This would make sure, that I record all of my goden moments.

Normally one receives birthday gifts but on his 79 th birhday this guy gifted me something very great, something which made me forget all pains and sufferings undergone during my workout. This guy was celebrating his birthday and he is no one other than my beloved lord Shri Sathya Sai Baba. Thanks a lot Swami for your kind gift and grace.

Something very great is just round the corner for me. To achieve fullest of it I would have to perform my best and would give my fullest for it as this would definitely effect my future.

With Gods Grace and will mine project SaiPACS got qualified for the " Nokia Inovator Of the Year award . The event is managed by National Geographic Channel Asia . Recived a mail from an employee od NGC. The first reaction was about the layout of the slides I would be using to present my point. This all came at a very special day i.e 23 November which is Birthday of my beloved lord Shri Sathya Sai Baba. My sleepless nights and parents love and guidance is now materilizing. Thanks to my Parents , Lord.

It was a great workout for me and my mind, after all this I am back with my usual stuff of writing code and shooting bugs. Here I come you nasty codes....

Many times I have came across this with PostgreSQL if an aggregate like sum, count function is used on a single column of the table the limit clause makes the query real faster. Just try this select count(*) from my_table limit 1; This would be more faster than just select count(*) from my_table; The reason limits decide the scan of data pages and reduces the I/O for the interface program (in my Case psql). What do you people say.

When ever I feel drowned the best thing I do to gather myself is. Look into my rear view miror of life to be more precise, I review all the divine coincidence and happenings that my almighty has gifted me, this way I rejuvenate and am able to start again with enhanced vigor and more energy.

It helps a lot when discussing among friends, lately we discussed Inflation and lending rates of banks at our yahoo group. I replied to his query but what I replied was totally off mark and thanks to abhishek he corrected me and explained it in detail. The crux if I am in learning mode and my ego does not bother me, even toddlers would teach me.

Fedora Core 3 has been released, hope this one would be stable as Core 2 was having problems due to hasty induction of X.org server and new kernel. Now since X.org seems to be stable lets hope that good things would happen in Fedora Core 3 I would just order one today as cannot wait to put my hands on Gnome 2.8, not to forget Kernel 2.6.x which would give better I/O support resulting to speedier database calls in short select statements would execute faster.

Coincidence indicates how lucky one is, and this was to happen again with me when I was at [*CENSORED's*] place, hymns kirtan was in progress. Initially I decided to pull back but since this was a sacred deed I welcomed it into my life with open arms, moreover I got a chance to sing a hymn in praise of lord. Thanks lord for this coincidence. This really helps, as these kinda things assures me that I am in contact with the almighty.

Am thinking of writing a book on PostgreSQL, though I am not a pro for a book but did'nt everyone started with alphabets and lateron graduated to reading and writing. So lets start collecting the stuff and shoot.

It's 30 days down after my machine was loaded with Windows XP and now my laptop with 1.5 Ghz Pentium M is working like a 400 Mhz system. These all indication suggest a re installation of Windows XP . See this is we get after paying Rs. 7000/- for Windows , a schedule of 30 days reinstall and constant threat for Virus my hate for Windows grows many folds after each install as I have to backup all my data before every install. Looking forward for Fedora Core-3 which would be fast because of Kernel 2.6.x I hope it would be stable now.

After a long black out of my blogs and online stuff I am back online. Recently I went through a history washout and during that history washout I deleted all my blogs and writings just to make sure I dont ever bump into to it in near future. A future thats different and energizing.
